Jonathan Wetzel 
Jonathan was born on March 21st, 1801 in Hereford Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Jonathan's father was Philip Wetzel and his mother was Anna Maria Berger. His paternal grandparents were Johan Jacob Wetzel and Anna Maria Bassler. He had five brothers and a sister, named Philip Jr., Johannes, Daniel, Johan Henry, Solomon and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 80 on April 22nd, 1881 in New Berlin, Limestone Township, Union County, Pennsylvania.-
