Johann George Wetzel 
Johann George was born on April 8th, 1795 in Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Johann George's father was Johannes Wetzel and his mother was Catharina Truckenmiller. His paternal grandparents were Johan Jacob Wetzel and Anna Maria Bassler; his maternal grandparents were Sebastian Truckenmiller and Catharina Schambach. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Philip Truckenmiller, Peter, Son, Johannes Jr., Elisabetha and Maria Philipina. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 43 on April 26th, 1838 in Hereford Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on April 26th, 1838 in St. Peters Union Cemetery, Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.-
