Evalina Shaffer 
Evalina was born on August 19th, 1861 in Mt. Lookout, Nicholas County, West Virginia. Evalina's father was Joseph Allen Shaffer and her mother was Mary Francis McClung. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Shaffer and Mary George; her maternal grandparents were Dickinson Carpenter McClung and Sara Elizabeth Evans. She had a brother named Christopher Clayton. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Edgar, George, Jacob Allen, James Russell, Edwina, Susie, Louisa and Lizzie. She died at the age of 66 on August 15th, 1928.General Notes
