Diantha was born about 1809 in Vermont or New York. Diantha's father was Abraham Russell and her mother was Mercy Kenyon. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Russell and Sarah Adams. She had a brother and three sisters, named Samuel Kenyon, Diana, Mary Ann and Sarah. She was the oldest of the five children. She died in 1872 in Dickinson, Franklin County, New York.-
