Dorothy May was born on October 18th, 1907 in Peoria, Illinois.1 Dorothy May's father was Edward Franklin Miesse and her mother was Mary Margaret Sutton. Her paternal grandparents were Siamon P. Miesse and Manerva M. Miller; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Sutton and Hannah Sheldon. She had a brother named Everett. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 81 on May 23rd, 1989 in Peoria, Illinois. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso, Woodford County, Illinois.1 General Notes
