John Frederick Loretz 
John Frederick was born in 1801 in Lincoln County, North Carolina. John Frederick's father was Andrew H. Loretz and his mother was Elizabeth Lehman. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Loretz and Ursula Paravinci. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, Andrew H., Daniel, Anna Catherine, Elizabeth, Anna Mary and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 30 on May 11th, 1831 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.-
