Daniel Loretz 
Daniel was born on May 27th, 1802 in Lincoln County, North Carolina. Daniel's father was Andrew H. Loretz and his mother was Elizabeth Lehman. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Loretz and Ursula Paravinci. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, Andrew H., John Frederick, Anna Catherine, Elizabeth, Anna Mary and Sarah. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 48 on April 21st, 1851 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.-
