Harold II Godweineson of was born about 1022 in Wessex, England.  Harold II Godweineson of's father was Godwin of Wessex and his mother was Gytha Thorkilsdottir.  His paternal grandfather was Wulfnoth of Sussex; his maternal grandparents were Thorkils Sprakalegg Styrjornsson and UNKNOWN Sigrid. He had four brothers and a sister, named Leofwine of, Gyrth Godwinsson of East, Tostig Godwinsson of, Sveyn Godwinsson of and Edith (Eadgyth) of.  He died on October 14th, 1066 in Battle of Hastings, Senlac Hill, Sussex, England.  He was buried in 1066 in Waltham Abbey, Essex, England.
