Eadgyth (Edith) of was born before 0920.  Eadgyth (Edith) of's father was Edward the Elder of England and her mother was Aelfaeda of Wiltshire.  Her paternal grandparents were Alfred the Great of England and Eahlswith of the Gaini; her maternal grandparents were Aethelhelm of Wiltshire and Aethelgyth (Elswitha) of Risborough. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Aelfweard of, Aethelhild of, Edwin of, Aelfaeda of, Edflaed of, Edhilda of, Aelgifu of, Aethelflaeda of and Edgifu of. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Aethelstan of, Alfred of, Edmund I Deed Doer the Elder of, Gregory of, Eadred of, Edith of, Edburga of and Edgifu of.  She died in Germany.  She was buried in 0946 in St. Maurice Cathedral, Magdeburg, Germany.
