Erik I the Evergood Svendsson of was born in 1059.  Erik I the Evergood Svendsson of's father was Svend II Estridsen of Denmark and his mother is Ellisif (Elizabeth) Jaroslavna of Kiev.  His paternal grandfather was Ulf (Wolf) Thorkilsson and his paternal grandmother is Estrith (Margaret) of Denmark; his maternal grandparents were Yaroslav I the Wise Vladimirovich of Kiev and Ingigerd (Anna) Olafsdottir of Sweden. He had five brothers named Harald IV Hen Svendsson of, Knud II (St.) Svendsson of, Oluf I Hunger Svendsson of, Niels Svendsson of and Svein Svendsson of.  He was the third youngest of the six children. He had three half-sisters named Ingirid, Ingigerd Haraldsdottir of and Ragnhild Maria.  He died at the age of 44 on July 10th, 1103.
