Maud of was born about 1098. Maud of's father was Stephen comes Britanniae and her mother was Hawise de Guincamp. Her paternal grandfather was Eudon comes Britanniae and her paternal grandmother is Agnes de Nantes de Cornouaille. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Alan III the Black of, Henry I, Geoffrey II Boterel, Agnorie Penthievre, Olive and Theophania. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died in 1139.-
