Leah of the Bible 
Leah was born in Haran, Padan-Aram. Leah's father is Laban son of Bethuel. Her paternal grandfather is Bethuel Son Of Milcah. She had two half-sisters named Rachel and Tamar. She died in Canaan. She was buried in Machpelah.General Notes
Leah, in the Old Testament, the elder daughter of Laban, born in Haran (see Genesis 29). Laban gave her in marriage to his kinsman Jacob in place of her younger and much more beautiful sister, Rachel, for whom Jacob had agreed to serve Laban for seven years. Leah bore Jacob six sons (Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun) and one daughter (Dinah). She died in Canaan and was buried in Machpelah (see Genesis 49:31).

Leah and Jacob were married in a religious ceremony in 1798 in Padan-Aram. They had seven sons and a daughter, named Ephraim, Isaachar, Levi, Rueben, Simeon, Zebulun, Judah and Dinah.
