Hugues "le Grand" was born in 1053 in Vermandois,Normandy,France.  Hugues "le Grand"'s father was Henri I King of France and his mother was Anna Agnesa Yaroslavia.  His paternal grandparents were Robert II King Of France and Constance De Toulouse; his maternal grandparents were Yaroslav I Grand Duke of Kiev and Ingrid Olafsdotter Princess Of Sweden. He had two brothers and a sister, named Phillipe I, Robert and Emma.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 48 on October 18th, 1101 in Tarsus,Cilicie.  He was buried in St Paul De Tarse.
