Peter was born on November 25th, 1797 in Washington Co., TN. Peter's father was Conrad Keicher and his mother was Margaret Lyerle. His paternal grandfather was Christian Kiker and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Lineberger; his maternal grandparents were Johann Christopher Lyerle and Elizabeth Christina UNKNOWN. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John(Johann), Joseph, Conrad Keicher, UNKNOWN, Catherine(a), Mary Ann, Margarite Ann, Susannah and Barbara. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 72 on April 25th, 1870 in Richland Township, Madison Co., Indiana. He was buried in Nelson Cemetery, Richland Twp., Madison Co., Indiana.-
