Abraham Gifford

Abraham was born in 1743. Abraham's father was Peleg Gifford and his mother was Abigail Shepherd. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah Gifford and Mary Wright; his maternal grandfather was Daniel Shepherd and his maternal grandmother is Mary Sherman. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, Christopher, Noah, Levi, Abigail, Tamar, Mariah and Mary. He is the oldest of the nine children.
