Abigail Gifford

Abigail was born in 1749. Abigail's father was Peleg Gifford and her mother was Abigail Shepherd. Her paternal grandparents were Jeremiah Gifford and Mary Wright; her maternal grandfather was Daniel Shepherd and her maternal grandmother is Mary Sherman. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Daniel, Christopher, Noah, Levi, Tamar, Mariah and Mary. She is the fourth oldest of the nine children.
