Susan was born on August 21st, 1870 in NC. Susan's father was Thompson A. Edwards and her mother was Delilah Higgins. Her paternal grandparents were Berry Edwards and Ruth Davis; her maternal grandparents are John Higgins and Susan Edwards. She had a brother named Hiram. She was the older of the two children. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Berry H., John, Shubel, Solomon M., Thomas A., Jane, Martha, Sarah, Betty and Cynthia Elizabeth. She died at the age of 33 on August 26th, 1903.-
