Maud was born in 1215 in Angus, Now Forfar, Scotland.  Maud's father was Malcolm Earl of Angus and her mother is Mary (Maud) de Berkeley.  Her paternal grandfather was Duncan Earl of Angus and her paternal grandmother is Mrs. Countess of Angus; her maternal grandparents are Humphrey de Berkeley and Agatha de Berkeley.  She was an only child.  She died about 1261 in Barony, Prudhoe, Northumberland, England.


Maud's first family with Gilbert De Umfreville

‌Maud and Gilbert were married in a religious ceremony in 1243 in Castle, Prudhoe, Northumberland, England.  They had a son named Gilbert.


Maud's second family with Richard De Chilham

‌Maud and Richard were married in a religious ceremony in Dover, England.  They had a son and a daughter, named Richard and Isabella.
