Nancy Ann was born on November 14th, 1883 in Greene Co., Iowa. Nancy Ann's father was Richard (Richmond) Coen and her mother was Hannah Minerva Nesler. Her paternal grandparents were Levi Coen and Delilah Brewer; her maternal grandparents were Harrison Nesler and Nancy Ann Knowles. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William Harrison, Samuel Arthur, Lawrence E., Mattie M., Lillie Mae, Iva Estella and Mina B.. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died in Long Pine, Brown Co., Nebraska.-
