Lawrence E. Coen 
Lawrence E. was born in April 1893 in Brinkerhoff, Rock Co., Nebraska. Lawrence E.'s father was Richard (Richmond) Coen and his mother was Hannah Minerva Nesler. His paternal grandparents were Levi Coen and Delilah Brewer; his maternal grandparents were Harrison Nesler and Nancy Ann Knowles. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William Harrison, Samuel Arthur, Mattie M., Lillie Mae, Nancy Ann, Iva Estella and Mina B.. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died in France.-
