Rosa Cheek 
Rosa was born on February 26th, 1861 in Alleghany Co., NC. Rosa's father is Meridith Cheek and her mother was Sarah "Sally" Andrews. Her paternal grandparents are Richard Cheek and Mrs. Frankie Cheek; her maternal grandfather was James Andrews and her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Crouse. She had five brothers and two sisters, named James, Henderson, Isom, Burras, Joseph, Matilda and Pheobe Jane. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 on August 15th, 1936 in Alleghany Co., NC.-
