Her paternal grandfather was James Andrews and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Crouse. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William Preston, Brady, Letcher C., Mahlon, Platt L., Coy, Etta Francis, Pearl, Betty, Matilda Ruth and Grace. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 96 on August 24th, 1978 in NC.-
