Brady was born in 1879 in NC. Brady's father was Burris Andrews and his mother is Lucy Jane Dougherty. His paternal grandfather was James Andrews and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Crouse. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William Preston, Letcher C., Mahlon, Platt L., Coy, Etta Francis, Sarah E., Pearl, Betty, Matilda Ruth and Grace. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 1 in 1880 in Alleghany Co., NC.-
