Rosa was born on November 7th, 1856 in NC or VA/North Carolina. Rosa's father was John Andrews and her mother is Catherine Blevins. Her paternal grandfather was James Andrews and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Crouse; her maternal grandparents are Jefferson Blevins and Mrs. Phoebe Blevins. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Polly, Henry, Floyd, Martin A., Quiller, Phoebe Jane, Elizabeth, Caroline and Della. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 58 on November 7th, 1914 in Alleghany Co., NC.-
