Martin A. was born in 1868 in NC or VA/North Carolina. Martin A.'s father was John Andrews and his mother is Catherine Blevins. His paternal grandfather was James Andrews and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Crouse; his maternal grandparents are Jefferson Blevins and Mrs. Phoebe Blevins. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James, Polly, Henry, Floyd, Quiller, Phoebe Jane, Elizabeth, Rosa, Caroline and Della. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 76 in 1944 in Alleghany Co., NC.-
