Robert VAUGHAN 
Robert was born in 1592 in Of, Hengwrt, Dolgelley, Wls. Robert's father was Hywel Fychan VAUGHAN and his mother was Margaret OWEN. His paternal grandfather was Gruffydd VAUGHAN and his paternal grandmother is Catherine UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather was Edward OWEN and his maternal grandmother is Ellin LLWYD. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Hugh, William, Henry, John, Elizabeth, Margaret and Alice. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 on May 16th, 1667 in Parish Church, , Dolgelley, Wls. He was buried in May 1667.General Notes
