Hugh VAUGHAN

Hugh was born about 1625 in Hengurt, Dolgelly, Mereionethshire, Wales. Hugh's father was Robert VAUGHAN and his mother is Catherine NAHNAU. His paternal grandparents were Hywel Fychan VAUGHAN and Margaret OWEN; his maternal grandparents are Gruffyd NAHNAU and Ellen WYNN. He had three brothers and a sister, named Howell, Ynyr, Gruffydd and Jane. He is the third oldest of the five children.
