Benjamin Stacy 
Benjamin was born in 1752 in St. Mary's, MD. Benjamin's father was Benedict Bennett Stacy and his mother was Sarah Haskins. His paternal grandfather was John Stacy and his paternal grandmother is Mary Abernathy; his maternal grandparents were Aaron Haskins and Priscilla Redmond. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Aaron, John, Elisha, Mark, Jane, Nancy, Sarah and Lucretia. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 in 1832 in ,Rutherford, TN.General Notes
A Rev. war voucher for goods was issued to Ben in the Hillsborough District, NC 1782. By 1825 they moved to Rutherford Co., TN In an area that becomes part of Cannon Co.
By Oct 1820 they moved to Rutherford Co., TN on the Stones River in an area that becames part of Cannon Co. in 1836. Later they lived on what became known as "Stacy's Hill" just West of Thyatira Cemetery on Bradyville Pike. They lived on this farm through the Civil War. AAron Stacy sold the farm to Peter Reed, 1 Feb 1869 in Rutherford County, TN.- Deed Book 16, page 377.
