AMERICA LUCINDA was born about 1817 in , Davidson, Tennessee.  AMERICA LUCINDA's father was William Howe Nance and her mother is Elizabeth Veneable Morton.  Her paternal grandfather is David Nance. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Josiah Crenshaw, SAMUEL, WILLIAM L., FREDERICK W., CLEMENT W., JAMES T., MARY A., MARTHA, SUSAN MASSEY, Elizabeth V., SICILY and ANTOINETTE M..  She is the third youngest of the thirteen children.
