Lydia HOLMES 
Lydia was born in 1637 in Of Stockport, Lancashire, Eng. and her baptism took place in 1646 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts. Lydia's father was Obadiah HOLMES and her mother was Katherine HYDE. Her paternal grandparents were Robert HOLMES (HULME) and Katherine JOHNSON; her maternal grandparents are Gilbert HYDE and -Mrs Gilbert HYDE. She had six brothers and five sisters, named John, Jonathan, Samuel, Obadiah, Joseph, Jonathan, Mary, Martha, Hopestill, Sarah and Sarah. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 26 in 1663 in Gravesend, Kings, New York. She was buried about 1663.General Notes
