Obadiah BOWNE 
Obadiah was born on July 18th, 1666 in Gravesend, L.i., New York. Obadiah's father was James BOWNE and his mother was Lydia HOLMES. His paternal grandparents were William (Bound) BOWNE OR BOUND and Mrs. Ann BOWNE; his maternal grandparents were Obadiah HOLMES and Katherine HYDE. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, James, William, Andred, Samuel, Catherine, Deborah, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 59 on April 19th, 1726 in Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey. He was buried in 1726 in Presby Ch Yd, Middletown, New Jersey.General Notes
