Oliver GRISSOM

Oliver was born in 1817 in , , Nc. Oliver's father was Moses GRISHAM GRISSOM and his mother was Elizabeth "Betsy" SLATE. His paternal grandfather was Drury GRISSOM; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Jr. SLATE and Elizabeth "Betsy" ORSBROOK. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William, James Mose, James B., Rhoda, Nancy, Jane, Elizabeth and Eliza. He is the oldest of the nine children.
