David Jacob Eisenhower 
David Jacob was born on September 2nd, 1863 in Elizabethville, Dauphin, Pennsylvania. David Jacob's father was Jacob Frederick EISENHOWER and his mother was Margareta (Rebecca) MATTER. His paternal grandparents were Frederick EISENHOWER and Barbara MILLER; his maternal grandparents were Heinrich MATTER and Anna Mary DIETRICH. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Dr Abraham L, Ira, Susan M, Mary A, Catherine and Amanda. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 78 on March 15th, 1942 in Abilene, Dickinson, Kansas. He was buried in March 1942.General Notes
