Jacob Frederick was born on September 19th, 1826 in Elizabethville, Dauphin, Pa. Jacob Frederick's father was Frederick EISENHOWER and his mother was Barbara MILLER. His paternal grandparents were John Peter EISENHOWER and Anna Margaret DISSINGER; his maternal grandfather was John MILLER and his maternal grandmother is Susanna Raysor. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John David, Samuel Peter, Polly, Anna, Catherine, Katherine and Anny. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
