Prudence Thornton 
Prudence was born on March 31st, 1699 in Gloucester Co., Virginia. Prudence's father was William Jr. Thornton and her mother was Prudence Willis. Her paternal grandparents were William Thornton and Elizabeth Rowland. She had five brothers and a sister, named Francis, Seth, William III, John, Joshua and Susan. She had a half-brother and eight half-sisters, named William, Elizabeth, Margaret, Mary, Sarah, Jane, Judith, Anna and Esther. She died at the age of 64 in 1763 in Goochland Co., Virginia.-
