Martha Pryor 
Martha was born on April 10th, 1723 in North Carolina. Martha's father was Samuel Pryor and her mother was Prudence Thornton. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Pryor and Elizabeth Virginia Green; her maternal grandparents were William Jr. Thornton and Prudence Willis. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Robert, William, Francis (Frank), Joseph, Samuel, Luke, Thornton, John, Mary (Mollie) and Nancy. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 56 on March 13th, 1780 in Halifax County, North Carolina.-
