William Pryor 
William was born in 1726 in Gloucester, Virginia. William's father was Samuel Pryor and his mother was Prudence Thornton. His paternal grandparents were Robert Pryor and Elizabeth Virginia Green; his maternal grandparents were William Jr. Thornton and Prudence Willis. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Francis (Frank), Joseph, Samuel, Luke, Thornton, John, Martha, Mary (Mollie) and Nancy. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 51 in 1777 in Goochland Co., Virginia.-
