Fannie Smith 
Fannie was born on December 1st, 1876 in Forreston, Ogle, Illinois. Fannie's father was Tjark (Jackson) Smidt and her mother was Wopke Muntenga. Her paternal grandparents were Jakob Heijen Gerdes Smidt and Frauke (Fanny) DeGrave. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Jacob (Jimmie), Katie, Dena and Clara. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 59 on January 2nd, 1936 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo, New Mexico.-
