Klaas Barney Kruger 
Klaas Barney was born on February 14th, 1879 in Grundy County, Iowa. Klaas Barney's father was Klaas C. Kruger and his mother was Berenedena Groenhagen. His paternal grandparents were Christian (Chris) Eilers Kruger and Neone Klaasson Soorholz. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Rev. Harm Tammen, Christian, Henry K., Barney, Albert John, Naunia and Gertie. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 50 on March 20th, 1929.-
