Bessie Kruger 
Bessie was born about 1907 in Grundy County, Iowa. Bessie's father was Klaas Barney Kruger and her mother was Hauke Pruisner. Her paternal grandparents were Klaas C. Kruger and Berenedena Groenhagen; her maternal grandparents were John Pruisner and Brechtje Antons. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Klaas Christian, Infant, Harm, Henry, Berendia, Gertie and Hattie. She was the third oldest of the eight children.-
