Cinust Ap Peibio was born about 0496.  Cinust Ap Peibio's father was Peibio Glafrog Ap Erb and his mother was Custennin.  His paternal grandfather was Erb. He had four brothers named Tewdwr Ap Peibio, Cynfyn Ap Peibio, Guidci Ap Peibio and Efrddyl Ap Peibio.  He was the second youngest of the five children.
