Anna Dorothea Marie was born on July 20th, 1868 in Forreston, Ogle, Illinois. Anna Dorothea Marie's father was Aalderk Jochums Eikamp and her mother was Klaaske (Clara) Smidt. Her maternal grandparents were Jakob Heijen Gerdes Smidt and Frauke (Fanny) DeGrave. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Johann (John), Johann (John), Alderk, Frauke (Kate) and Clara. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 78 on September 15th, 1946 in Forreston, Ogle, Illinois.-
