Amke (Emma) Beving 
Amke (Emma) was born on January 20th, 1884 in Matlock, Sioux Co. or Hardin Co., Iowa. Amke (Emma)'s father was Dick (Dirk) Beving and her mother was Mareka Willemssen. Her paternal grandparents were Dirk (Ubbens) Evers Beving and Trientje "Tena" Jans Freeksen; her maternal grandparents were Jan Hindkerk Willemssen and Peterke (Pearl) Muntinga. She had five brothers and ten sisters, named John Willemssen, Dirk (Dick), Ubbe, Henry, Henry, Trientja (Tena), Peterka (Patty), Antje (Anna), Gepka (Abbie), Wopka (Myrtle), Mareka (Mary), Henrietta, Etta, Minnie and Bertha. She was the sixth oldest of the sixteen children. She died at the age of 84 on November 13th, 1968 in Wadena, Wadena, Minnesota. She was buried in Hewitt, Todd, Minnesota.General Notes
