George Washington Akers 
George Washington was born on July 4th, 1825. George Washington's father was Jonathan Akers and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Ament. His paternal grandparents were Augustine (Austin) Akers and Rhoda Thompson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John Henry, Andrew Jackson, Austin Harrison, Abigail Adela, Elizabeth "Betsy", Rachel Ann and Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Sarah. He died at the age of 56 on September 6th, 1881.-
