Mary Lavina was born on December 14th, 1874 in Atlantic,Cass,Iowa. Mary Lavina's father was Noman Whited and her mother was Sarah Jane Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Lazarus Whited and Ruth Maria Surber. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William Ennis, Simon Alfred, Isaiah, Bertha Myrtle, Anna Laura, Jennie Elizabeth and Nellia Mae. She died at the age of 70 in March 1945.General Notes
