Bertha Myrtle was born on October 5th, 1877 in Shelby,Iowa. Bertha Myrtle's father was Noman Whited and her mother was Sarah Jane Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Lazarus Whited and Ruth Maria Surber. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William Ennis, Simon Alfred, Isaiah, Mary Lavina, Anna Laura, Jennie Elizabeth and Nellia Mae. She died at the age of 92 on November 5th, 1969.General Notes
