Luther Whited 
Luther was born about 1856 in Iowa. Luther's father was Lazarus Whited and his mother was Ruth Maria Surber. His paternal grandparents were John Whited and Margaret Hubble; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Surber and Eada or Elizabeth Harrel. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Noman, Isaiah, Jim, Malinda, Wright and Tarra. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.General Notes
