Adam was born on November 15th, 1832 in Washington County,Ohio. Adam's father was William Walters and his mother was Elizabeth Schriver. His paternal grandfather was John Walters; his maternal grandparents were John Shriver and Mary----------. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Amos Ambrose, Nathan, William, Jeremiah, Martha, Mary A., Lydia, Phebe and Sarah E.. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 on May 25th, 1912 in Orleans,Indiana. He was buried in Orleans Cemetery,Orleans,Indiana.General Notes
Adam had a General Store in Lily Dale, IN. Moved to Marengo, IN in 1890's
where he operated a store there for many years. Upon retirement, they moved
to Orleans, IN
Adam and Annara were married in a religious ceremony in Washington County,Ohio. They had four sons and five daughters, named Joseph Henry, Mayfield Erasmas, Emery, Cleave (Cleophus), Margaret Jane, Emily, Lenora Pricilla, Mary E. and Sarah Ellen.
