His paternal grandparents were Martin Terry Rev. and Mary Ann Reed. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named William G., Joseph Kelso, Josiah Kelly, Eli Cannon, Robert Simon, Alfred Monroe, Grandville Hansford, Wesley Sartin, Samantha Maybell, Caldonia Catherine, Martha Ellen and Minerva Ardella. He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 82 on December 11th, 1949 in Barry Co.,MO. He was buried in Arnhart Cemetery,E.Purdy,Barry,MO.1 1 -
