Mary (Polly) Staton

Mary (Polly) was born in 1805 in Barren County,Kentucky.  Mary (Polly)'s father was poss.Jehu Staton and her mother was Mehala UNKNOWN.  Her paternal grandmother was Phoebe Unknown. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Ezekiel, Elijah, George, Joseph, Elizabeth, Phebe, Catherine, Sarah (Sally), Nancy, Sally and Peggy.  She died at the age of 68 on August 26th, 1873.

‌Mary (Polly) and Gentry were married in a religious ceremony on July 23rd, 1822 in Warrick County,Indiana.
